Our Substance Abuse Intensive Outpatient Program is designed for individuals who are actively working toward recovery and need a structured, more intensive level of care than traditional outpatient services.

1. What services does Quan’s Behavioral Health Services offer?
We provide a wide range of mental and behavioral health services, including individual and family therapy, medication management, substance abuse treatment, and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).
2. Who do you serve?
We work with children, adolescents, and adults. Our services are designed to support individuals and families facing mental health challenges, substance use concerns, life transitions, and behavioral difficulties. The IOP program is available for individuals ages 16 and older.
3. What types of issues do you treat?
Our licensed specialists support clients experiencing depression, grief, anger and stress, relationship challenges, substance use disorders, social skill difficulties, and emotional or behavioral concerns. We also provide skills development and youth and family support services.
4. What is the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)?
The Intensive Outpatient Program is a structured substance abuse treatment program for individuals who need more support than traditional outpatient care but do not require inpatient treatment. The program includes group counseling, psycho-education, individual and family counseling, case management, and crisis services, with at least nine hours of programming per week.
5. Do you offer group counseling?
Yes. We offer weekly group counseling and psycho-educational groups focused on motivation, skill-building, substance use recovery, and mental health education. Group services are available as part of treatment plans and within the IOP program.
6. Are your providers licensed and accredited?
Yes. Quan’s Behavioral Health Services is licensed by the Louisiana Department of Health and is CARF accredited. Our team consists of trained and licensed behavioral health professionals who follow evidence-based practices and a strict code of ethics.
7. Do you accept Medicaid or offer self-pay options?
We accept Medicaid and also offer a sliding fee scale for self-pay clients. Our goal is to make quality mental health services accessible and affordable for the community.
8. How do I get started with services?
Getting started is simple. You can call our office to schedule an initial evaluation, during which we will assess your needs and develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to your goals and circumstances.
9. Where are you located and what are your hours?
Our physical office is located at 1340 W Tunnel Blvd, Suites 521, Houma, LA 70360. We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Our mailing address is PO Box 2708, LaPlace, LA 70069.
10. What if I’m not sure counseling is right for me or my child?
